‘Embrace’ hits number one in Dutch Album Top 100
More than seven years after his first #1 album in The Netherlands, Armin van Buuren chalked up his second prime position in the GfK Dutch Album Top 100. In the second week after its release on Armada Music (October 29th), ‘Embrace’ has climbed the charts to claim the number one spot.
In addition to the album itself claiming the #1 position in the Dutch Album Top 100, three of its singles are currently embellishing the ranks of the Single Top 100. ‘Heading Up High’ feat. Kensington entered the Single Top 100 charts on #44, while ‘Another You’ feat. Mr. Probz (50,000,000 streams on Spotify) and ‘Strong Ones’ feat. Cimo Fränkel (1,000,000 streams on Spotify) are still going strong in the charts as well.
The first time Armin van Buuren hit #1 in the Album Top 100 charts was in April 2008. His third studio album ‘Imagine’, which was later awarded with certified gold, instantly jumped to the number one position after being released.
