Armin van Buuren on special ADE post stamp
The Netherlands have always been on the forefront when it comes to dance music. For the Dutch company PostNL this was reason enough to design a special post stamp for this year’s edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event to honour five Dutch dance heroes. Among world-famous DJ’s Afrojack, Dash Berlin, Hardwell and Tiësto, Armin van Buuren will be portrait in bright and fluorescent colours. All DJ’s were in the top 10 of the renowned DJ Mag Top 100, and the start of ADE will be the perfect timing for the stamp to be revealed. Every year more than 300.000 people visit the event and with over 2000 DJ’s in 80 clubs and other locations, it is the leading electronic music platform and biggest club festival in the world for the entire spectrum of electronic music.
The stamps will be particularly special because they will be provided with an invisible code that can be recognised by your smartphone with the use of an app called “Cee App (free for download in the App store and via Google Play). After scanning the stamp, 5 fragments of recent tracks will be available for listening. The stamps will be for sale as off the 6th of October and on Wednesday the 15th of October the DJ’s will receive the first copies in person from PostNL CEO Herna Verhagen.
