He spent the weekend in Sweden with his friends, learning all about how to cook barbeque style alongside fishing trips and games of beer pong. That wonderful moment is upon us once again. The one we’ve been anticipating since the end of last year and the one we’ve highlighted on our calendars about a dozen times, just to show how much it means to us. For whomever Trance music has a special place in the heart, the election of the ‘Tune Of The Year 2017’ is cause for celebration. But before that moment arrives, we need your help.

Starting today, you can cast your vote on numerous monumental Trance records and choose which track has really won you over. After the voting closes on December 18th, you only have to wait four days until the ‘Tune Of The Year 2017’ is revealed (December 21st). We’d have loved to turn the ASOT radio studio into a haunted, one-room mansion, but frankly, the thought of scrubbing the fake blood off the white walls and equipment knocked some sense into us. No happening is as mad as the Amsterdam Dance Event. From co-hosting the ‘Evers Staat Op’ show on Radio 538 and kicking off the SLAM! Mix marathon to playing b2b with Hardwell at AMF and becoming the #3 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, Armin van Buuren got thrown head first into a hectic, but extremely enjoyable week brimming with dance music of all sorts.
