Saturday, February 7th marks the continuation of the ASOT #700 Live Stream celebration, with Armin van Buuren and friends hosting a 6-hour show. The first episode was a roaring success, and the crowd was nothing short of phenomenal! We can’t wait to continue the party once more, and to broadcast to trance lovers from beautiful Sydney. Fans from around the world can join in the celebration, just put on the live stream and join in on an incredible celebration of music.

Not long ago, we asked you to submit your vote for your favorite mix of the new A State of Trance Festival anthem: ‘Together (In A State of Trance)’. After tallying the votes, we can safely say that the people have spoken! So who came out on top? Drumroll, please…

Mr. Armin van Buuren’s original mix received the most votes, followed closely by a TIE for second place between the Bryan Kearney and the ReOrder & Standerwick pres. SkyPatrol remixes. The numbers were close, and every remix had strong support from loyal followers. Regardless of whether your mix won the popular vote or not, one thing is guaranteed: each of these outstanding mixes will be played repeatedly during ASOT Festival and throughout the year by big DJs the world over.

The set times for February 7th in Sydney have been announced, and we’re thrilled with the talent that will be involved in this incredible celebration. Spanning two stages, you’ll be treated to not one but two Armin performances (his trademark warm-up set to kick things off followed by his peak-hour 2 hour set), and of course, performances from David Gravell, Gaia, Aly & Fila, Bryan Kearney, MaRLo, Omnia, Ben Gold, Jorn van Deynhoven, Alexander Popov, and a B2B set from Thomas Hayes & Nick Arbor.

In preparation of A State of Trance 650, the ASOT Cadets have done research all across the globe, trying to find the perfect locations for the celebrations to land. In one of the countries, the Netherlands to be precise, they did something extra special. The ASOT Cadets have hidden 5 pairs of tickets in undisclosed locations…for you to find. And so, they invite you…to the ASOT650 Utrecht ticket hunt on Saturday February 8th!

At stake are 5 pairs of tickets for the ASOT650 show in the Jaarbeurs, Utrecht on February 15th, along with a few merchandise goodies! So, how does it work?

Download the Armin app: crack the code! The ASOT Cadets speak a unique language, a language in code. After many months of investigation and testing, we’ve finally come up with a translation. We built our very own Trancelator, which can be found in the official Armin van Buuren app. Be sure to download the app if you want to participate in the Ticket Hunt!

Keep an eye on the ASOT Facebook: location exposed! Keep an eye on the ASOT Twitter and Facebook for the codes to drop. These codes contain the clues you’ll need to find the tickets.

Friday February 7th: around 1PM (CET) the ASOT Cadets will reveal the very first code. Saturday February 8th: the ASOT650 Utrecht ticket hunt is on. The second code will be revealed and if you can catch a Cadet, you win! Good luck and be prepared.

Coming off of ‘Redemption’ (ASOT Tune of the Week), ‘Angels’ (Armin’s Best of 2014), and ‘Explorer’ (A State of Trance Year Mix 2014), Arisen Flame scores big yet again with ‘Hyper.’ While we haven’t been to his studio, there must be a button or piece of gear that he has that says “awesome” on it, because it feels like this producer can absolutely do no wrong. Tonight Armin van Buuren celebrates the 700th episode of his weekly radio show ‘A State of Trance’ and is handing over control of the episode to his fans. Over the past few weeks, listeners were asked to submit a voice recording of themselves introducing a favorite track for the show. The two-hour show, which will be broadcast tonight worldwide between 20:00 and 22:00 and on Friday on Radio 538 in the Netherlands from 23:00 to 01:00, will have been created entirely by the hands of the A State of Trance fans.

The radio show tonight is just the first part in a series of celebrations. Next week, Armin will start a new tour called “Together in A State of Trance”, a theme that has been chosen to involve the fans as much as possible in the tour. The tour will take the ‘A State Of Trance Festival’ to continents around the globe. So doing, Armin van Buuren will become the first DJ to have his own festival. It promises to be the biggest trance festival tour in history.

The Celebration Weekend of the 700th episode of his A State of Trance radio show will be held in Australia: on February 6th in Sydney and February 7th in Melbourne. The show in Sydney will be broadcast live via the A State of Trance radio show. Once again, the listener will have a role in the show: They will have the chance to interview artists during the first ‘A State Of Trance’ Festival by submitting questions via: www.bitly.com/asot700au

On February 21st, Armin will proudly host his only European A State of Trance Festival, organized at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. The show will be followed on April 11th by a show in Buenos Aires. A State of Trance will also have an internship during Ultra Music Festival in Miami, on March 29th. More tour dates will be announced soon.

Just for the ‘A State of Trance Festival’ world tour, Armin has also created a theme track called ‘Together (In A State Of Trance)’. Along with 6 remixes, the single ‘Together (In A State Of Trance)’ will be available via all music download and streaming services and physically on CD.
